Update of the watercourse development plan for the town of Bretten

GefaÖ was commissioned to update the watercourse development plan for the town of Bretten, for a total watercourse stretch of around 72 km.

Complementary to the ecological inventory within the framework of the watercourse development plan, goals and suitable measures for a near-natural development and redesign of the watercourse were elaborated and presented.

In addition to the river bed, a potential watercourse development area on both sides was mapped intensively. Depending on local conditions, this area comprises 20-100 m.
